Your chauffeur coordinates the agreed meeting point after immigration and baggage reclaim. For a hotel pickup, provide its full address. Questions about your journey
Is this a one-way transfer or a return day trip?
It is a private one-way journey from Heathrow Airport or an agreed Heathrow-area hotel to Southampton via Stonehenge. Your final drop-off is the cruise terminal or hotel confirmed in your quote. A return journey or different route needs a separate arrangement.
Can we visit Stonehenge before boarding our cruise the same day?
Only after we assess your flight arrival, immigration and luggage allowance, attraction opening, road travel and your cruise line's assigned arrival slot and final check-in deadline. We confirm whether the stop fits before booking. A late flight or early check-in deadline may mean a direct transfer is more suitable.
What happens if our flight is delayed?
Tell us your flight number so collection can be coordinated with its actual arrival. If delays leave too little time for Stonehenge or cruise check-in, we contact you to agree a practical onward plan. The quotation sets airport waiting, service changes and any charges. Neither attraction entry nor a ship's departure can be held for a delayed flight.
Are Stonehenge tickets or a tour guide included?
Admission is separate unless your written quote explicitly includes it. Coordinate the visit with us before buying tickets. Your chauffeur provides transport and stays with the vehicle; you explore independently. A standard visit follows the path around the stones and does not include special Stone Circle access.
How long is the journey and the Stonehenge stop?
The suggested stop is around two hours, including the shuttle and walking. Total service time depends on airport exit, your pickup and final addresses, traffic and the cruise deadline. Your quote confirms the agreed service window and approximate Southampton arrival. Your written quotation confirms total service time and any extra-time charges.
What are Stonehenge's opening hours and closure dates?
English Heritage currently lists 09:30–17:00 with last entry at 15:00. Hours vary by season and the site is closed on Christmas Day. Solstice and other special arrangements may affect normal visits. Check the official calendar for your date and coordinate admission with your transfer before purchasing tickets.
Can we be dropped at a Southampton hotel rather than the port?
Yes. Provide the hotel's full address when requesting your quote. If boarding a ship, provide the ship and actual terminal from your cruise documents; Southampton has several terminals. A changed destination must be agreed and may affect the route, timing and price. Can we bring cruise luggage and child seats?
Send the number and sizes of suitcases and cabin bags, plus pushchairs and children's ages. Vehicle suitability depends on luggage as well as passenger count. Child seats require advance confirmation. Keep valuables and travel documents with you during the Stonehenge visit.
Does the price include airport waiting, parking and extra time?
Your written quote sets out the included airport waiting, parking, service hours and any extra-time or route-change charges. Do not assume unlimited waiting or extra stops. Review those details before payment; this enquiry does not create a confirmed booking.
